The Board of Trustees has undertaken this referendum process to address the major problems recently identified with the North Canyon water system. As part of the Boards responsibility to YOU the landowners to keep the water system healthy and sustainable, the Board is soliciting input from both the North Canyon community of water users and industry and regulatory professionals. Please be aware that this referendum and the decision reached through the vote will have a substantial effect on water rates within the district; all North Canyon water users are respectfully reminded that the capital costs presented here are in addition to the fees being paid by each water user to support the annual Operational Budget. The time has come to choose a viable option for the continuity of the communitys high-quality water system.
One singular question will be chosen by the Board of Trustees for the referendum vote and will serve to dictate the future direction taken by the Board in managing the North Canyon water supply.
